I spent last weekend in Sydney with my parents, so that I could attend the Mad Quilters Gathering. The Mad Quilters Gathering is a yearly event with different teachers and retailers showing their latest gadets, and patterns. I was so chuffed to meet Jane Morgan (who I had been e-mailing with for the past year), and see her stand highlighting her patterns and fabrics, AND, my Deco Divas! Above is a picture of Jane with the quilt that she made, which was published in Machine Embroidery Magazine, and her fantastic apron. Her quilt looks amazing, and we both had a laugh about the fact that neither of us purchased a thing to make our Divas, we all worked with what we had at home. Lovely to meet other frugal stitchers.
